How can I order seeds from Charlcon Seeds?

You can order seeds by phone, email or through the Charlcon Seeds website.

Can I find Charlcon Seeds products in stores?

Charlcon Seeds products can be found in farm supply stores such as Elders and Landmark. If your local branch does not stock our seeds, request that they call us to arrange imediate deliver to their store. We mainly sell our seeds direct to growers, passing on the saving to you.

Is there a minimum order of seeds required?

If you are ordering seeds in our vegetable varieties, the minimum order is 1000 seeds. In our herb seeds range, the minimun order is 100grm.

Can I place seeds orders ahead of time? If Yes, When should payment be made?

We strongly encourage growers to email in any orders ahead of time to guarantee that you will have the amount of seeds that you need when you need them. Just be sure to indicated the date that seeds are needed and we will make sure we have them ready for you. All payments should be made before seeds are delivered.

How can I pay for my seeds order? What credit cards do you accept?

All seeds orders can be paid by cheque, money order, bank transfer or credit card. We currently accept the following credit cards: Mastercard and Visa.

Do I have to pay any taxes on my seeds order?

You will need to pay GST which is 10% added to the seed cost. This only applies to Australian Customers. All prices are gst exclusive, your invoice will indicate the break up of the cost of seeds, gst and freight.

How will my seeds order be delivered? And How long will I have to wait?

All orders will be received the next day (in most areas) via Express Post through the Australia Post Postal Service. Other delivery methods can be arranged if discussed prior to placing a seeds order.

Can my seeds order be tracked? Where can I do this?

Yes that is why we use express post as your delivery is allocated a tracking number. To find out the status of your delivery, click the Track My Package button on top of this page and provide your tracking number or you may call 13 13 18.

Do you supply seeds to Australia only?

No, we supply to all countries.

Do you sell small quantities for my personal garden?

We sell in bulk to vegetable farmers and growers. There is a minimun seeds order for all vegetable and herb seeds range.

How do I know which vegetable and herb seed varieties are in stock?

Most varieties are always in stock. If there is a particular variety that you don’t see on our website, please give us a call as we may be able to order it in for you.

Are any of your vegetable and herb seeds treated with chemicals? or Are the seeds genetically modified?

In order to preserve the seeds, some may be treated with chemicals. To the best of our knowledge our seeds are not genetically modified.

Which seeds can be directly seeded into the ground?

Beetroot, carrot, cucumber, spring onion, pumpkin, rockmelon, squash, turnips, watermelon, zucchini and most herbs. But most growers today, sow seeds in seedling trays, so they can plant the seedlings into the ground.

Do you sell seedlings?

We only sell seeds but we can recommend a seedlings nursery to you.

What are your hours of operation?

Do you offer seed varieties other than what is on your website?

Yes, we are always introducing new varieties to our catalogue. If there is a particular variety that you require, give us a call as we may already have it in stock or can arrange to order it in.
